RHEA COUNTY, TN — On Thursday, May 1, 2025, the Rhea County Sheriff’s Department was actively investigating a male subject who was wanted on an outstanding felony warrant. During the course of the investigation, Rhea County Detectives attempted to take the individual into custody, which led to a vehicle pursuit originating within Rhea County. The pursuit continued into Hamilton County and ultimately concluded on Interstate 75, where the suspect’s vehicle crashed. The investigation remains ongoing, and no further details are being released at this time to protect the integrity of the case.
