RHEA COUNTY MAN ARRESTED ON TUESDAY NIGHT FACES MULTIPLE CHILD SEX CRIME CHARGES IN COURT
Tracy Kenneth Vest, a 54-year-old white male, 6’0″ tall and weighing 210 pounds with grey hair and brown eyes, was arrested by the Rhea County Sheriff’s Office and booked into custody on June 2, 2026, at 6:37 P.M. and released the same day at 8:22 P.M.
He faces serious felony charges in Rhea County, Tennessee (Circuit Court, June Session 2026). The indictment includes three counts of Sexual Battery by an Authority Figure. These allege that on or about March 13 and March 26, 2026, Vest unlawfully and knowingly had sexual contact with victims who were 13 to under 18 years old, while he was in a position of trust that he used to accomplish the contact.
A fourth count charges Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child. It alleges that between March 13 and March 26, 2026, Vest engaged in a pattern of three or more incidents of sexual abuse of a minor child over a period of ninety days or more, with common methods or characteristics forming a single continuing offense.
All charges are brought by Courtney Lynch, the District Attorney General for the 12th Judicial District.
