A Rhea County Grand Jury has indicted a man for the shooting death of a 7-year-old boy.

Court documents state Christ’ion Jones is charged with first-degree felony murder in perpetration of aggravated child neglect, aggravated parental or custodial child endangerment, filing a false report to law enforcement, and two counts of aggravated child neglect.

Jones will be arraigned soon on the charges in Rhea County Criminal Court.
