RHEA SHERIFF ARRESTS MICHAEL BROWN ON DRUG CHARGES
Spring City, TN – On September 23, 2024, deputies with the Rhea County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant on a houseboat docked at 2109 New Lake Road, Spring City. The search led to the arrest of Michael B. Brown, who was charged with possession of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
During the search, law enforcement officers discovered a significant quantity of both drugs, along with drug paraphernalia. Brown was taken into custody and was charged with:
• Possession of fentanyl for resale
• Possession of methamphetamine for resale
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be filed.
Brown was arrested in June of 2024 at the same location on the same charges of possession of methamphetamine for resale, possession of fentanyl for resale, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was out on a court issued $50,000 bond prior to the arrest on September 23, 2024.
