Richard Arthur Beck age 89 of Crossville, TN passed away May 19, 2024. he was born December 26, 1934 in Baltimore, MD the son of William A. and Rosalia Bevins Beck. Richard was a graduate of Denison University in College, Ohio 1956 with a bachelor’s degree in English. He served our country in the United States Army for three years. Mr. Beck worked as a insurance adjuster, also in the publishing business, and he worked at the CIA . He moved from West Palm Beach FL to the Lake Tansi area 25 years ago to be closer to family. He loved to play tennis, racquetball and golf. He enjoyed playing cards, listening to music (Willie Nelson Waylon Jennings, Emmy Lue Harris) and good BBQ. He loved his family deeply and his beloved cat Raven.

He is survived by his long time partner of 33 years, Mary Kotek, children- Arthur Geary Beck, Laura Jean Beck, three grandchildren- Amanda Lauren Masters, Colton Joseph Koinig, Heather Beck and great grandchild- Charlie Jane Masters

In addition to his parent, he was preceded in death by his siblings- Rosalie Bevins Beck and William Paul Beck.
