Several road construction projects continue in Cumberland County.

TDOT wants to remind drivers of two projects in particular.

The first is on Highway 127 South and Highway 68 in front of the Homestead Tower. Traffic has shifted to a section of the new roadway at the intersection. Construction equipment and vehicles will be entering and exiting the work zone frequently. Drivers should be aware of the new traffic pattern.

The second area is Interstate Drive in Crossville between Genesis Road and Old Jamestown Highway. Road work will require temporary lane closures and short-term closures of city streets along Interstate Drive. Traffic has been swapped at the Stout Drive intersection to near Cotton Patch Road. Motorists traveling west on Interstate Drive should be mindful of the “Right Turn Only” lane at the intersection of Stout Drive near Buc-ee’s.
