ROAD RAGE INCIDENTS REPORTED IN CROSSVILLE

TBI RELEASES STATEMENT ON OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING IN BRADLEY COUNTY

Crossville police recently took two different road rage reports.

The first took place on West Avenue. The victim stated he stopped at the red light to go onto Miller Bypass and waited for the light to turn green. There is a no right turn on red sign posted. He stated a driver in a gray Toyota Tacoma pulled up behind him and flashed his lights and blew the horn. The victim got out of his vehicle and approached the Toyota to see if the driver needed help. The motorists in the Tacoma told the victim to “move his car or else” and reportedly brandished a hand gun. He returned to his car without further incident. A check of the registration showed the vehicle of the alleged aggressor came back to an address in Murfreesboro.

The second act happened on Executive Drive near I-40. A male on an electric bicycle was followed by a motorist from the Walmart parking lot. The aggressor got out of an SUV and attacked the victim. The assailant was not identified and nearby camera footage of the incident was poor in quality.
