ROANE CHAMBER ANNOUNCES FALL BREAK FOOD DRIVE ACHIEVEMENT
A post by the Roane County Chamber of Commerce announced The Roane Chamber Ambassador Team had sponsored a Fall Break Food Drive for Roane County Students, and this group has been working on this project since August.
The Chamber said they are very proud to announce their Ambassador team is serving well over 625 students, across 14 schools in their district, and over 8,200 individual actual food items were collected.
All 625 bags had at minimum 10 food items in each bag.
The Roane Chamber gave a thank you to the Roane Chamber Ambassador team for leading this project, promoting within their businesses and social media, and to the citizens of Roane County for donating many items for the cause.
Lastly, The Roane Chamber gave a final thank you to Mrs. Guinn and Staff at Roane County High School, and her LifeSkills students for helping the Chamber take their finalized bags, and placing them into Second Harvest bags for pre-identified students throughout Roane County.
