The Roane County Board of Education last night voted to delay the start of school for students until August 19. They are still required to attend 180 days of school. The following changes to the school calendar will be made: Fall Break is shortened to two days with dates to be determined and  3 snow days will automatically be used to keep the original end of school date of May 21, 2021.
