The county commission met on Monday in regular session at the courthouse in Kingston at 6:00 p.m. After the roll call, prayer, and pledge, county executive Wade Cresswell came to recognize the Kingston High School fishing team.

During the hearing of delegations, Carolyn Bush Roddy announced that her foundation had been established to give one high school senior each year from each Roane County High School a scholarship.

Also, Roane Alliance president Justin Snow gave the good news that Roane County is getting much recognition in what is called Site Selection Magazine.
