ROANE COUNTY CORRECTIONAL VETERAN RETIRES AFTER 32 YEARS OF SERVICE
Correctional Officer Deputy Tommy “Red” Monday has officially retired after a distinguished career spanning more than three decades with the Roane County Sheriff’s Office.
Beginning his tenure in 1994, Monday served continuously under three different sheriffs, becoming a fixture of stability and institutional knowledge at the local detention facility. Colleagues and department leadership highlighted his unwavering loyalty and profound dedication to both the facility’s operations and the broader Roane County community throughout his 32 years on the job.
