Roane County firefighters, with the South Roane County Volunteer Fire Department, responded this morning to a heavy machinery blaze.

Thanks to the quick actions of the owners and first responders, the fire was extinguished and was kept from spreading and becoming a wildland/forest blaze.

No injuries were reported.
