A jury found a Roane County man guilty this week for multiple counts of child rape. Court officials say 56-year-old William Eric Brownlow of Shady Drive in Harriman was indicted by a grand jury six years ago on three counts of the rape of a child. The victim in that case was 12 at the time of at least one of the alleged rapes, which reportedly happened between April 2012 and October 2013. The judge revoked Brownlow’s bond and he was placed in custody. A sentencing hearing in the case is set for December 19, 2019. Brownlow faces up to 120 years in prison.
