A Roane County sex offender was arrested by deputies yesterday. Jail officials says 50-year-old Floyd Franklin Hanson was charged with two counts of violation of the sex offender registry. Hanson was processed into the Roane County jail. According to the Tennessee sex offender registry, Hanson is labeled as violent against children and placed on the registry after his 1996 conviction for sodomy with a child under the age of 12 by force.
