BBBTV12 – Just after 4:30 p.m. on Monday, a Roane County school bus was involved in a collision with a car on Mountain View Road. Fortunately, none of the students on the bus were injured, although the bus sustained significant damage to its front and nearly went over an embankment following the impact.

The car involved in the crash was carrying a female driver and an 8-year-old child, both of whom were transported to a local hospital by ambulance. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) is currently investigating the incident, and further details, including the identities of the drivers and the determination of fault, will be provided once the final report is released.
