ROANE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE WELCOMES NEW PATROL DEPUTY
The Roane County Sheriff’s Department welcomes Deputy Caleb Gentry to their patrol division. Gentry is a Kingston native and a graduate from Midway High School. After working in corrections at the sheriff’s office. Gentry joined the U.S. Army. Upon completion of basic training, he was assigned to the 3rd Infantry Regiment. Gentry also served as a guard at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. After serving in the military, Gentry returned to Roane County. He attended The Law Enforcement Training Academy (TLETA) where he graduated as class leader and honored with the leadership award. “I am highly honored and humbled to serve the citizens of Roane County,” said Gentry.
