ROANE FIREFIGHTERS RESPOND TO FAIRMONT DRIVE FIRE TWICE IN ONE DAY
A family of three was displaced after a fire at their home on 111 Fairmont Drive in Harriman last night. Assistant Fire Chief John Johnson reported the initial call came in around 8:30 p.m., with Harriman, Rockwood, and Kingston fire units responding to the single-story structure fire.
The cause of the fire remains unknown. The home was deemed uninhabitable, and the Red Cross assisted the family in finding temporary shelter.
Around 1:30 a.m., the fire rekindled, prompting Harriman fire units to respond again.
No injuries were reported.
