Robert Swafford Savage, age 65, of Pleasant Hill, passed away March 18, 2021. He was born March 21, 1955 in Chattanooga, the son of Dr. Richard P. and Anna R. Swafford Savage. He was retired from the Cumberland County School System having taught many years in the elementary schools.

He is survived by his wife: Olivia Diane Savage; father and mother: Dr. Richard and Anna Savage of Baxter, Tennessee; sons: Shawn Savage (Mackenzie) of Baxter, Tennessee and Robert Savage of Omaha, Nebraska; brothers: Dr. Richard Savage Jr. of Cookeville, Michael Savage (Brenda) of Pikeville, and Dr. Steve Savage (Sharon) of Pulaski, Tennessee; sister: Linda Savage Harber (David) of Cookeville; and grandchildren: Jade Clark, Paxton Savage and Harper Savage.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Jesse and Pearl Savage; maternal grandparents: Garland and Carrie Swafford; and special aunt: Idell Payne.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Old Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday March 22, 2021 from 1 until 3 p.m. at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville. The family has respectfully asked facial coverings be worn.
