ROCKWOOD CITY COUNCIL RECEIVES CLEAN AUDIT
The Rockwood City Council met in regular session last night at City Hall, one week earlier than usual. The council heard from Jr. Cates, a representative from their auditing firm, who reported that the city’s finances are in good shape with no findings for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. The city has also reduced its debt service and increased revenue compared to the previous year’s audit.
Mayor Jason Jolly complimented City Administrator Becky Ruppe and Finance Officer Belinda Kretzer for their hard work in managing the city’s finances and achieving a clean audit.
The agenda was light last night, with only a few items, and the meeting lasted about 15 minutes.
