The Rockwood City Council is scheduled to meet late this afternoon. Among items on the agenda will be a resolution authorizing the mayor to advertise a request for proposals for city garbage pickup and disposal; and a public hearing and second reading of an ordinance replacing the 2012 codes published by the International Code Council, Inc. with 2018 codes.

The Council will also take up budget amendments and hear a Tarwater update. The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time at City Hall. The public is invited to attend.
