ROCKWOOD FUGITIVE NOW IN CUSTODY AFTER POLICE CHASE

LOUDON COUNTY, TN – A fugitive is now in custody after a chase in Loudon County on Wednesday evening.
According to the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office, shortly before 12 PM on February 1st, Lenoir City Police Department attempted a traffic stop on 34-year-old Christopher Taylor from Rockwood. Taylor fled in a vehicle and a short time later crashed and fled on foot.
K-9 Kora and her handler, Corporal Chance Gray began a search and were able to take Taylor into custody without incident a short time later. Assisting in the search was the Roane County Sheriff’s Office, with the use of a drone, and the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Christopher Taylor is being held at the Loudon County Detention Facility and is pending charges from multiple agencies.
