The Tennessee Highway Patrol report is now in on last Saturday’s accident involving two vehicles that hit head-on on Old Airport Road shutting down the road for several hours just past the interstate overpass . The report states Arlene Nance, 54, from Rockwood was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt when she crossed the center line striking a 2007 Silverado pickup driven by 43-year-old Shane Mayton of Rockwood. Mayton was not injured nor were two juveniles ages 8 and 3 years old with him as they were properly restrained. A passenger in the vehicle with Arlene Nance, identified as 43-year-old Jerry Hackle,r was injured as well as Nance. Both were transported to an area hospital. Charges against Arlene Nance included DUI and violation of financial responsibility law.
