ROLLINS ARRESTED FOR AGGRAVATED BURGLARY

Crossville police went to an apartment on Heather Ridge Circle Wednesday for a burglary in progress.

The renter told officers he pulled into the parking lot and saw a window next to his front door open and the blinds disarrayed. When he approached the dwelling, 31-year-old Billy Ray Rollins listed as homeless, came out carrying a backpack and large bag of clothes. Rollins fled on foot after being confronted. The suspect was located by law enforcement a short time later in a nearby park.

Rollins was banned from the apartment complex back in 2018 and was arrested in January for being at the same location after being told not to return.

Rollins was taken into custody for aggravated burglary, criminal trespassing and theft of property.
