ROUTINE TRAFFIC STOP IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY TURNS INTO ARREST OF WANTED FUGITIVE
A routine traffic stop for an expired tag in Cumberland County last Friday turned into an arrest of a wanted subject. Authorities stopped the 1995 Honda Civic on I-40 at the 320 mile marker and a check of a passenger, 28-year-old Travis Voight of Gatesville, Texas, revealed he had a full extradition order of arrest out of Potter County, Texas for possessing a prohibited weapon in a correctional facility. Voight was transported to the jail in Crossville to await Texas law enforcement to pick him up.
