Scam calls are going out to some Volunteer Energy Cooperative (VEC) customers in the Upper Cumberland and valley. They are receiving them for bogus representatives threatening to cut their power off unless they pay over the phone. Please call VEC when you receive these types of calls and if you can get a phone number report it to law enforcement.
