SEARCH CONTINUES FOR ESCAPED INMATE JEREMIAH HOLT

The Roane County Sheriff’s Office is looking for an escaped prisoner. Jeremiah Wayne Holt was part of an inmate work crew that was headed to the landfill yesterday to drop off some trash when he fled on foot.

Holt is a Caucasian male standing 5’10’, weighs 160 pounds and has blue eyes and brown hair. He was originally arrested and processed into the Roane County jail on December 23, 2020. Holt was being held on several charges including reckless driving, evading arrest, violation of probation or parole, and failure to appear in court.
