Authorities are searching for a Meigs County woman who is reported missing. Officers say 51-year-old Chris Mary Carter last spoke with her daughter May 1. Carter reportedly told her daughter she would return May 3. Carter was last seen when she was dropped off at a Super 8 Motel on Crosswood Boulevard where she was meeting a man she was dating. Both Carter and the male subject were supposed to catch a bus to South Carolina to meet his family. Carter stopped replying to messages from family and her phone was cut off. Carter stands 5’5″, weighs 160-170 pounds, and has short brown hair. She has a tattoo on her left wrist reading “Bryson 5/13/11”.
