Dive teams resumed their search today for a 55-year-old Maryland man who may have drowned in Tellico Lake in Loudon County. The Blount County Sheriff’s Office is assisting with a dive team that specializes in underwater caves. A helicopter from the Air National Guard was also expected to contribute to the search effort. Tellico Lake consists of 15,000 acres of water surrounded by 357 miles of shoreline.
