Cumberland County law enforcement recently went to a home on the 800 block of Creekway Drive for suspected narcotics being sold there. A search of the home of 49-year-old Daniel Jerry Wright after a search warrant was carried out allegedly revealed individual packages containing meth and more of the drug in a container. The arrest report states officers found marijuana, pills and just over $4,800 in cash in a safe. A loaded 9mm handgun was supposedly located under a mattress with Wright being a convicted felon. He was charged with manufacture, delivery or possession of drugs, possession of a firearm while in commission of a felony and unlawful possession of a weapon.
