Following on the heels of an announcement made last year, two Sears stores are closing in Hamilton County. The Sears at Hamilton Place Mall opened its doors to customers for the last time this past weekend. In October of 2018, Sears filed bankruptcy and announced that they would be closing 142 stores. The closure will mean that several people will be out of a job. The Sears at Northgate Mall will also be closing in February.
