SECOND PERSON DIES AFTER WRONG-WAY CRASH ON PELLISSIPPI PARKWAY

A second person has died after a three-vehicle crash last Friday on Interstate 140.  The report stated that around 1:30 AM Friday morning, Knoxville Police Department officers responded to a crash on Interstate 140 West (Pellissippi Parkway) near the Kingston Pike exit.
According to police, 33-year-old Eduardo Deavila, of Knoxville, was driving a Honda Sedan the wrong way on the Interstate when he collided with a Nissan SUV, which then hit an Acura.
The driver of the Acura, James Wilson, 49, of Rockwood, was pronounced dead at the scene. Stephen Traub, 59, of Louisville died
over the weekend.
Police said Eduardo Deavila, 33, of Knoxville appeared to be intoxicated when officers spoke with him after the crash at UT Medical Center. Deavila remains hospitalized as of late Monday.
