Buffalo Valley Rd is closed from Happy Hollow Rd to the Buffalo Valley Post Office, off I-40 exit 268 in Buffalo Valley due to a semi truck crash on I-40. Traffic is also slowed on I-40 at mile marker 269 East bound while Emergency Management, THP, and wrecker companies work to remove the crashed truck. Buffalo Valley Rd is expected to reopen early Friday afternoon (9/26).

The crash occurred just before 2am on I-40 caused by a semi and trailer rollover over the embankment toward Buffalo Valley Rd. EMS, Fire, and Rescue (including the Rope Rescue Team) worked to free the occupants of the truck. No other vehicles were involved and only minor injuries occurred.
