SENATOR BAILEY AND SPEAKER SEXTON PLEDGE SUPPORT TO PLEASANT HILL COMMUNITY AFTER TORNADO

Tennessee Senator Paul Bailey and Speaker of the House Cameron Sexton released a statement last night after a tornado struck the Pleasant Hill community in Cumberland County.
“An EF-0 tornado hit the community of Pleasant Hill in Cumberland County this afternoon. Reports indicate that there were only minor injuries. Several buildings were impacted including Pleasant Hill Elementary. As a result, Cumberland County Schools will be closed Friday (April 9, 2021). Speaker Cameron Sexton and I pledge our support to the community and will work to ensure any needed state resources are made available,” said Senator Bailey.
