SENATOR KEN YAGER RECEIVES PILLARS OF HOPE AWARD

On September 4, 2025, State Senator Ken Yager (R-Kingston) received the Pillars of Hope Award from the 15th Judicial District Child Advocacy Center in Nashville, Tennessee, for his dedicated service to children and families across the state. The award, presented annually, recognizes individuals who serve as steadfast community pillars, reflecting the strength symbolized by the Center’s four front porch pillars.
Senator Yager was honored for his tireless advocacy, particularly his co-sponsorship of the Savannah Grace Copeland Act, which has bolstered funding for Child Advocacy Centers statewide, enabling them to provide safety, healing, and hope to vulnerable children. District Attorney General Jason Lawson praised Yager’s efforts, noting the significant impact of his work in minimizing trauma for young victims during investigative and legal processes.
Yager expressed deep gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing the importance of protecting children and supporting the heroic work of Child Advocacy Centers across Tennessee.
