SEND-OFF PARTY FOR PROSECUTOR ROGERS HELD AT KINGSTON D.A.’S OFFICE

A send-off party for former prosecutor Anthony Rogers was held this afternoon at the 9th District Attorney General Russell Johnson’s office in Kingston. Rogers, who will now serve as Morgan County General Sessions Judge, was bid farewell by about 25 attendees, including Harriman Mayor Wayne Best, Rockwood Police Chief Kelly Pittman, friends, family, and DA staff.

District Attorney General Russell Johnson praised Rogers’ years of service as a prosecutor and wished him success in his new judicial role. Rogers expressed gratitude for the friendships he built while working under Johnson and looks forward to his new position.

Additionally, Mike Davis, the previous Morgan County judge, will join the 9th District DA staff and be sworn in as a prosecutor by Judge Jeff Wicks on Monday at 8:30 AM at the Morgan County Courthouse.
