SENTENCING RESCHEDULED FOR HOWARD CONVICTED OF ANIMAL CRUELTY
Officials say a sentencing scheduled in Cumberland County Criminal Court today was moved to August 4, 2021 for Jordyn Shae Howard. She entered a plea of guilty last December to aggravated animal cruelty. According to state law, Howard faces a range of 1 to 6 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $3,000. Howard did not take care of a dog at a Prentice Street home. It was rescued by A Time 4 Paws volunteer. The canine was taken to a veterinarian and later euthanized because of its poor health after being very malnourished.
