One tornado was identified as being sighted Wednesday amid watches and warnings. According to reports, a funnel cloud was responsible for destroying a mobile home and injuring one person near McMinnville. However there were plenty of severe thunder storm warnings given for the region. There were reports of some trees and power lines down in the area and hail stones that were up to an inch in diameter. Also, there was a report of a barn collapsing in Knox County. People had to be evacuated from Knoxville’s Positively Living non-profit housing facility after its roof was damaged in Wednesday night’s severe storm. There were no injuries, but 27 people were displaced by the incident.
