Showers and thunderstorms are likely this weekend and any of those have the potential to be severe but most will produce heavy rain and Gusty wind as well as Thunder and Lightning. I will be monitoring the situation closely and keeping you updated Saturday and Sunday so stay tuned because some of these storms could be damaging and even produce tornadoes. The greatest threat of severe weather would be between Nashville and Memphis but certainly severe storms are possible as far east as the plateau and Knoxville.
