A line of severe weather yesterday afternoon caused damage in parts of the listening area. The brunt of the damage took place in Overton County as trees were knocked down by high winds on Paron Road, Melton Road, West Netherton Road and along Highway 111. The storm line pushed north-northeast into Pickett County and into Clinton and Wayne County, Kentucky where numerous trees were reported down along East Highway 92 and in Monticello.
