Crossville police recently responded to the Executive Inn where they encountered 51-year-old James Lee Quarry of Crossville. He had outstanding warrants for vandalism and violation of an order of protection.

Officers also learned Quarry is a registered sex offender and had been staying at the inn for nearly a week without informing authorities where he was living within 48 hours.

Officers arrested Quarry for violation of the sex offender registry.

Quarry was ordered onto the registry after his conviction for rape.

According to the Tennessee sex offender registry database, Quarry has registry violations in 2019 and 2021.
