Law enforcement in Roane County arrested a sex offender Saturday. The sheriff’s department says 42-year-old David Wesley Johnson of Kingston was charged with violation of the sex offender registry. He was processed at the Roane County jail. According to court documents, Johnson was placed on the registry after his conviction in 2003 for attempted aggravated criminal sexual assault.
