On May 26, 2026, Deputy Jordan Winningham of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Patrick Nicholas Cogan of Wildwood Lane in Crossville for a violation of the sex offender registry.

Acting on information from Investigator Smith that Cogan had an active warrant for sex offender registration offenses and was likely at his workplace, Deputy Winningham located and took Cogan into custody at the flea market on 3034 Hwy 70N in Crossville around 11:30 a.m. Cogan was transported to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office for booking, where the warrant was served.

He was charged with one count of Violation of Sex Offender Registry, assigned a $7,500 bond, and scheduled for court on July 6, 2026.
