An indictment was returned by a grand jury against a Bledsoe County man for attempted first-degree murder. Court documents state 32-year-old Garrett Sherman faces additional charges of aggravated assault, vandalism, and possession of a firearm while attempting a felony. The charges stem from a reported incident back in June at a home on Spring Street where Sherman allegedly pulled up to the residence and started shooting into a vehicle where a subject was at.
