Cumberland County law enforcement and medics responded to a shooting late yesterday at a home on Orlie Young Road off of Peavine Road just east of Fairfield Glade. The victim was flown to an area trauma center for treatment. Very few details have been released by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department as it is under investigation other than the assailant was arrested. A motive for the act has not been revealed. More information will be given by the sheriff’s office at a later time.
