SITE CONSTRUCTION BEGINS AT NEW KINGSTON ENERGY COMPLEX
From Tennessee Valley Authority:
More American-made energy is on the way!

Site construction is underway at the future home of the new Kingston Energy Complex in East Tennessee! The site will include a 750-megawatt state-of-the-art combined cycle natural gas plant, 800 megawatts of flex-fuel aeroderivative turbines, 100 megawatts of battery storage, and up to 4 megawatts of solar generation – enough electricity to power approximately 900,000 homes.
