SIX INDICTED BY CUMBERLAND COUNTY GRAND JURY ON CHARGES
A Cumberland County Grand Jury returned indictments yesterday against six individuals in separate cases. They are as follows:
Tyler Dixon Hancock, age 31, Crossville for aggravated rape – The superseding indictment indicates back on August 7, 2018, Hancock allegedly caused bodily injury to and sexually penetrated a woman.
Timothy Wayne Moore, age 37, Crossville for aggravated assault and resisting arrest – The indictment states Moore on October 5, 2019 caused bodily injury to a female by strangulation and resisted arrest from officers after the assault took place.
Nicole Louann O’Neal, age 31, Crossville for filing a false report – This indictment stems from an incident where O’Neal allegedly sent authorities emails about planning school shootings back in September 2019. The warrant states O’Neal sent the emails knowing it would not occur and it would place people in fear of serious bodily injury or even death that would require law enforcement response. The warrant did not indicate which if any school was named in the emails from O’Neal.
Steven Randall Presley, age 44, Crossville for possession of meth for resale or delivery, 6th offense driving on a suspended license, introduction of contraband, evading arrest, aggravated assault – Among these charges, the indictments state Presley put an individual in fear of their life utilizing a .22 caliber rifle.
Mickey J. Wright, age 35, Crossville for aggravated assault, possession of a weapon by a felon and reckless endangerment – The indictment states Wright put a woman in fear of her life utilizing a gun back on January 31, 2019. Wright also allegedly discharged the firearm while inside Bootleggers Bar.
Michael Robert Scarbro, age 54, Crossville for aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and vandalism over $1,000 – The indictment reads Scarbro put a man in fear of his life while utilizing a shotgun back on August 4, 2019. Scarbro allegedly fired the shotgun at the vehicle the victim was in.
All six will be arraigned in Cumberland County Criminal Court January 17, 2020.
