A deputy in Cumberland County was notified Sunday of a possible location of a white GMC Yukon reported stolen in McMinn County. While on the way, the vehicle was seen parked at a store on the 7,000 block of Lantana Road. The report states 46-year-old Dwayne Levon Smith claimed he bought it two weeks prior from a man in Knoxville but could not provide any documentation showing that to be fact. The true owner was notified and came to take back possession. Smith was arrested for theft of property.
