SOUTH ROANE VOL. FIREFIGHTERS CONTAIN HOUSE FIRE TO ONE ROOM UNDER ICY ROADS

Feb 2, at 8:37 am, SRCVFD responded to a structure fire under challenging road conditions, where chains and/or 4-wheel drive were needed. The necessary apparatuses and firefighters made it on scene to attack the fire.
Thanks to quick, coordinated efforts, the fire was contained to one room and extinguished, preventing further damage. Most importantly, this family and their children are safe and still have a home today.
Huge shoutout to Roane County Office of Emergency Services, and everyone who responded, teamwork like this makes all the difference.
