Saturday, May 13th, 2023 is the “Stamp Out Hunger” Food Drive.

What to do:

Place non-perishable food items at the mailbox for food pantry volunteers or mailmen to collect OR take the food donations to the lobby of your local Post Office.

Popular items to donate:

• Cereal
• Pasta–pasta sauce
• Spaghetti/Spaghetti sauce
• Rice
• Canned fruit and vegetables
• Canned soups, chili, pasta
• 100% juice
• Peanut butter
• Macaroni and cheese,
• Canned meat-tuna, chicken, and turkey
• Beans

What not to donate:

• Homemade foods
• Anything that has been opened
• Anything that may require refrigeration
• Try to stay away from glass containers-things that will break
• Expired-out of date-food stuff
• Pet food-this is a people food drive
• Toiletries or other personal care items
• Money- You can make a donation directly to the charity of your choice.
