STATE COMPTROLLER INVESTIGATION REPORT RELEASED REGARDING UCHRA

A Tennessee Comptroller investigation report released yesterday flagged travel and comp time used by former Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency executive director Luke Collins. The report states Collins claims he attended meetings both in and out of state, but documents obtained by investigators could not support those claims. As a result, Collins received a $706 reimbursement and charged $3,791 to his agency credit card for travel expenses when supporting agencies had no record of his attendance. Other discrepancies regarding Collins were noted in the report. The UCHRA board of directors terminated Collins earlier this month. The report is now being reviewed by the district attorney.
